Apophenia is not the name of a flower. What I found interesting is that Apophenia identifies a human tendency to perceive meaningful connections between unrelated things; things that are not really there, giving rise to conspiracy theories. So, I found it intriguing to paint what I saw in the reflections of the silver flower vase while thinking about meaningless concepts.​​
